Do you have a great idea for a musical but need an incentive to get writing? We are offering dramaturgical support for the next great idea.

How to enter:

Email us with the subject heading ‘Chalk To Me! Competition’, attaching:

  1. One minute of video of yourself telling us about your musical

  2. One page of script

  3. Follow us @chalkdramaturgy on Instagram and Twitter

Prize:

The winner will receive the following:

  • Two FREE script report from Chalk Dramaturgy on your musical

  • A mentoring session on pitching your musical with a leading industry professional

  • We will feature you and your musical on our website!

All other information

Script reports and the mentoring session can be redeemed any time within the next 12 months.

Deadline for applications is midday Friday 20th November and the successful applicant(s) will be announced the following week.

Applications will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Originality of the idea

  • Clear communication of why you want to tell this story

  • Execution of your idea in the script excerpt

We encourage applications from writers from low income backgrounds who otherwise would not be able to access our service. Writing teams are welcome to apply.
